Morten Messerschmidt is a Danish politician and member of the right-wing Danish People's Party.
He has served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2009 to 2019.
Messerschmidt is notable for receiving the highest number of personal votes ever cast in a Danish election during the 2014 European Parliament election.
