Few people in Denmark have lived a life as surrounded by both duty and controversy as Lars Findsen. As former head of the Danish Defence Intelligence Service, he has spent much of his career in the shadows — navigating secrecy, responsibility, and the weight of national security. But he has also lived at the center of one of the country’s biggest modern scandals. Suspended in 2020, later arrested and charged with leaking classified information, and finally cleared when the case collapsed in 2023.
