This project follows Laila, a young woman living on a boat in Copenhagen, who balances the demands of university life and societal expectations with the freedom afforded by the Scandinavian welfare system and her choice to live off-grid in the city. By day, she studies at the university, and by night, she returns to her floating home, navigating the tension between conforming to conventional norms and pursuing her desire for independence.
